From 8-year-old author to results-getting copywriter

I debuted as a writer at the age of eight when I presented my report
“How to Cure the Common Cold” to my living-room audience. I haven’t
stopped writing since. As a student at
Arizona State University (ASU), I worked with
Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano’s election campaign, writing
policy reports and campaign materials.
After graduating summa cum laude from ASU and the
Barrett Honors College with a B.A. in
Political Science and a B.S. in
Economics, I moved to Missouri to work as an economic analyst
and writer at the
Federal
Reserve Bank of St. Louis. There, I coordinated the publication
of the St. Louis Fed’s portion of the
Beige Book and co-authored two articles in the Fed’s
Regional Economist.
After two successful years in Missouri, I returned to Arizona to
open a consulting firm that would focus on helping businesses and
individuals communicate better through the written word. Since its
inception, my business has flourished. From copywriting websites to
creating a company name, I’ve been busy helping my clients reach
their target audiences to communicate their messages.
Wondering what a copywriter does?

The word copy comes from the Latin copia, meaning transcript. The
modern definition of copy (as it applies to copywriting) is “written
text, as distinct from visual material or graphics.”
Certainly
there’s no copying involved in my copywriting – all of my work is
completely original and tailored specifically to get your message
out to your prospective customers.
As a copywriter, I write text that is designed to market your business to your potential customers. But I write more than marketing materials alone, because other kinds of copywriting – ghostwriting a column for you in a trade journal, copywriting a press release – are also effective ways to communicate your message to your
prospective customers.

Partnering for success
It’s true that there are other copywriters who can deliver outstanding
copy, too. But how many will partner with you in your pursuit of
success? We will.
Whether we’re working on a sales letter, brochure, or website, we work to
understand your goals, your concerns, your sources of pride. So that we’re
more than consultants and copywriters. So that we’re your partner.
